Custom Dome Lenses

Dome lenses are hemispherical shell structures that serve as protective optical windows for sensors, detectors, and imaging systems requiring wide field-of-view. Unlike solid hemispheres, domes have a hollow interior creating a shell with two optical surfaces: outer convex and inner concave.

Our configurator below provides instant online quoting for custom dome lenses in N-BK7 (H-K9L) and UV Fused Silica (JGS1) materials. You can specify outer diameter, shell thickness, and select optional AR coatings for both surfaces.

Note: It costs about as much to make one custom lens as it does to make ten, hence the minimum order quantity is 10 pieces. Large price drops occur as volume increases to 100 units.
