Custom Meniscus Lenses

Meniscus lenses feature one convex surface and one concave surface, creating a crescent moon shape. Available as both positive meniscus (converging) and negative meniscus (diverging) configurations depending on which surface has the steeper curvature. These lenses are widely used for aberration correction, beam shaping, and eyeglass applications.

Our configurator below provides instant online quoting for custom meniscus lenses in N-BK7 (H-K9L) and UV Fused Silica (JGS1) materials. You can specify diameter, radius of curvature for both the convex and concave surfaces (enabling positive or negative meniscus designs), edge thickness, and select optional AR coatings.

Note: It costs about as much to make one custom lens as it does to make ten, hence the minimum order quantity is 10 pieces. Large price drops occur as volume increases to 100 units.
