Rhomboid prisms (also called parallelogram prisms) are optical prisms with a parallelogram cross-section extruded along the width axis. They are primarily used for lateral beam displacement without changing the beam direction, making them ideal for beam steering applications, optical path offset, and compact optical system designs.
Our configurator below provides instant online quoting for custom rhomboid prisms in N-BK7 (H-K9L) and UV Fused Silica (JGS1) materials. You can specify base length, height, width, and angle dimensions, and also select AR coatings for the entrance/exit faces.
If you need materials, coatings, or specifications not available in the configurator, please contact us at [email protected] for a custom quote.
Note: It costs about as much to make one custom prism as it does to make ten, hence the minimum order quantity is 10 pieces. Large price drops occur as volume increases to 100 units.
