Right angle prisms are optical components with an isosceles right triangular cross-section (45-45-90 degrees) extruded along the width axis. They feature two equal cathetus faces (legs) perpendicular to each other and a hypotenuse face at 45 degrees. These prisms are commonly used for beam deflection, image inversion, retroreflection, and line-of-sight offset in optical systems.
Our configurator below provides instant online quoting for custom right angle prisms in N-BK7 (H-K9L) and UV Fused Silica (JGS1) materials. You can specify leg length, width, and select independent coatings for the cathetus faces and hypotenuse face.
If you need materials, coatings, or specifications not available in the configurator, please contact us at [email protected] for a custom quote.
Note: It costs about as much to make one custom prism as it does to make ten, hence the minimum order quantity is 10 pieces. Large price drops occur as volume increases to 100 units.
