Custom Ball Lenses

Ball lenses are perfect spheres commonly used for fiber coupling, laser collimation, endoscopy, microscopy, and barcode scanning applications. The spherical geometry provides efficient light collection and focusing with high numerical aperture capabilities.

Our configurator below provides instant online quoting for custom ball lenses in N-BK7 (H-K9L) and UV Fused Silica (JGS1) materials. You can specify diameter (10-50mm) and select optional AR coatings.

Note: It costs about as much to make one custom lens as it does to make ten, hence the minimum order quantity is 10 pieces. Large price drops occur as volume increases to 100 units.
